It is Friday in Uganda.

We have had an incredibly busy week. Some of our team have been working on a paving project on the COTN campus, some have been painting murals in the preschool buildings, some have been taking care of patients in the clinic and doing well child exams, and many of us have had opportunities to share devotionals with staff and students.

Pastor Dave, Pastor Jeremy, and myself have had multiple opportunities to teach, preach, and do trainings for staff.

Bill has been busy seeing patients in the clinic as they conduct the annual well child physicals. He’s enjoying the opportunity to teach the nurses about all kinds of things and trying to make the little ones smile. We’ve treated lots of Malaria, an emergency with a baby, and a respiratory emergency today. There has been many opportunities for our medical team members to pray with children who are struggling with illness, etc.

I (Lasaundra) have had multiple opportunities to teach. I’ve led morning devotions with the large staff, spoken to the secondary students, and today I taught several workshops to the female staff members (around 40 women). I taught basic Bible study tools, healthy practices for spiritual growth, and my workshop on praying the Bible. It was an amazing experience.

Pastor Jeremy and I will be teaching a workshop for staff on the free online Bible study tools available, and I’ll also be speaking to a group of widows on Sunday during an evangelistic outreach.

Ministry is happening. People are receiving Jesus (over 50 so far). People are being

taught and encouraged. As a team, we are being stretched to adapt, to be flexible, to be ready in season and out of season to share the Word, and to love greatly. The worship in Uganda is indescribable and our hearts are overflowing.
